Edged Energy plans to establish a data center in Saint-Louis, Marseille, with a €300 million investment. The project aims to create jobs and enhance local infrastructure, coinciding with a cinema city development.

Edged Energy is set to develop a data center in the Saint-Louis area of Marseille, with an investment of €300 million, scheduled for completion by late 2028. A public consultation will commence on August 24, 2026, lasting three months to secure environmental authorization.
This project is part of a larger initiative that includes a cinema complex and a logistics center, covering 4.6 hectares. The data center will occupy 21,900 m² across three floors and generate 30 direct jobs.
Additionally, it will feature 12 backup generators with a total capacity of 98 megawatts. Collaboration with local authorities aims to repurpose waste heat from servers. Risks associated with air emissions are deemed non-significant by the company.
