New Stacey H. Clark Patrol Boat Enters Service for Marblehead Harbormaster's Office
The Stacey H. Clark, a new 32-foot patrol boat for Marblehead's Harbormaster's office, was launched after delays due to weather and logistics. Built by Munson Boats, it features twin Honda engines, a Dyson pump system, and advanced communication technology for emergency services. The vessel was funded by a FEMA grant and local enterprise funds, totaling $591,015. The boat is named after a former harbormaster and is expected to serve for over 20 years.
The Stacey H. Clark, a new patrol boat for the Marblehead Harbormaster's office, was launched after delays caused by weather and logistics. The 32-foot vessel, built by Munson Boats, features twin 350-horsepower Honda engines and a Dyson pump system capable of 1,000 gallons per minute.
It will enhance emergency communications through AT&T FirstNet technology. The project cost $591,015, with a FEMA grant covering $397,203. The boat is named in honor of a former Marblehead harbormaster and is expected to provide service for over 20 years.
