NGX Group Partners with DEG Impulse to Launch N-Zero Programme in Nigeria
NGX Group has secured multi-billion-naira funding from DEG Impulse to implement its N-Zero Programme aimed at reducing emissions in Nigeria. This initiative, running from June 2025 to April 2027, is expected to mitigate 20,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions and foster low-carbon development in the private sector.

NGX Group has signed a funding agreement with DEG Impulse, part of the German Development Finance Institution, to launch its N-Zero Programme. The initiative will operate from June 2025 to April 2027, aiming to reduce or avoid 20,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions while supporting at least 26 businesses in achieving environmental standards and accessing carbon markets.
The collaboration aligns with Nigeria's commitments under the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goal 13. By enabling credible transition plans and carbon projects, this partnership aims to enhance economic resilience and promote green investments. The success of this programme could position NGX Group as a leader in climate action within Africa's financial markets.
