NHE Housing Project in Katima Mulilo Progresses with 546 Houses Planned
The NHE's housing project at Chotto Extension 55-56 in Katima Mulilo is 50% land serviced and valued at N$60 million, expected to complete by July 2026. The Katima Mulilo Town Council provided land for 546 houses at no cost. NHE invested N$55.4 million, creating over 70 local jobs. The project includes four pump stations for sewer reticulation. Additionally, NHE has launched a National Informal Settlement Upgrading Programme aiming for 10,000 houses annually.

The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) is advancing its housing project at Chotto Extension 55-56 in Katima Mulilo, with land servicing approximately 50% complete. The project, valued at N$60 million, aims for completion by July 2026, supported by land provided for free by the Katima Mulilo Town Council for 546 houses.
NHE has invested N$55.4 million, resulting in over 70 local jobs. The project includes infrastructure for four pump stations addressing sewer issues. Furthermore, NHE is initiating a National Informal Settlement Upgrading Programme targeting 10,000 houses per year, starting in Chotto Extensions 1 and 2.
