The NIST Carbon Dioxide Removal Consortium has welcomed Avantium as its newest member to advance measurement standards for direct air capture (DAC) technologies. Avantium, a leader in high-throughput testing for sustainable chemistry, will enhance the Consortium's efforts in developing robust measurement solutions.

The collaboration aims to improve confidence in CO2 removal through consensus-based methods. Avantium's testing platforms allow simultaneous evaluation of multiple sorbent materials, improving efficiency and data quality.
