Nokia and Google Cloud Enhance Network Automation with AI Integration
Nokia and Google Cloud have partnered to integrate AI agents powered by Gemini models into the Nokia Assurance Center, aiming to improve network automation and issue resolution for telecom providers. This collaboration is expected to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service reliability in an increasingly complex data environment.

Nokia and Google Cloud are integrating six AI agents based on Google's Gemini models into the Nokia Assurance Center, enhancing network automation for telecom providers. This initiative is designed to reduce operational costs and improve issue resolution times by 50% to 80%, addressing the challenges posed by complex data volumes in modern networks.
The agents will automate troubleshooting processes and provide real-time insights, allowing operators to shift from manual monitoring to a proactive architecture. The initial router and event triage agents will be available as a SaaS model on the Google Cloud Marketplace in September 2026, with additional agents released through software updates throughout 2027. The partnership enables telecom operators to achieve greater efficiency and reduce service downtime.
