Nokia and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison are enhancing Indonesia's mobile network with advanced 5G technologies and AI capabilities. This collaboration will improve digital access and enable new AI-driven services across various sectors.

Nokia and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison have formed a partnership to modernize the mobile network in Indonesia through advanced 5G deployment. This initiative will support low- and mid-band 5G rollout, enhancing network capacity, performance, and coverage nationwide.
The collaboration aims to enable AI-driven services and digital experiences, leveraging AI-RAN architecture in partnership with NVIDIA. Field trials are expected by the end of 2026, following the first AI-RAN call completed at Mobile World Congress 2026.
The upgraded network will facilitate applications in sectors such as public services, healthcare, and education. Adoption of AI-driven automation is anticipated to enhance operational efficiency, contributing to sustainable digital transformation in Indonesia.
