Nordic Capital Announces Three Strategic Investments in Financial Software Sector
Nordic Capital has made three acquisitions in the financial software sector as of March 2024, driven by regulatory demands and digitalisation pressures in the industry. The investments target key areas such as core banking modernization and analytics, aiming to address compliance requirements and operational efficiency for financial institutions.

Nordic Capital has executed three strategic investments in the financial software sector between February and March 2024. The acquisitions include Zafin, a provider of SaaS solutions for retail banking modernization; ActiveViam, which specializes in analytics for capital markets; and One Inc, a digital payments platform for the insurance sector in North America.
These investments align with ongoing trends in automation and regulatory compliance impacting the financial services industry. The complex regulatory environment, exemplified by the FRTB regulation for US banks due by mid-2025, adds pressure on financial institutions to enhance their operational capabilities and compliance measures.
