North Dakota State Water Commission Allocates Over $103 Million for Water Infrastructure Projects
FLOW CONTROL
The North Dakota State Water Commission has approved $103.7 million for 20 water projects across the state, aimed at enhancing flood control and water infrastructure. Major funding includes $81.1 million for the Mouse River Flood Protection project, which incorporates levees and pump stations.
Additionally, $5 million is allocated to the City of Mandan for the Memorial Highway Watermain project, part of a broader reconstruction effort. This funding is primarily sourced from the state's Resources Trust Fund, which is supported by oil extraction tax revenue.
