Novon Lighting, located in Arndell Park, Western Sydney, has shifted from importing lighting components to manufacturing 320,000 luminaires for a government contract, increasing its workforce from 15 to 87. The company invested in Swiss robotic technology and sustainable practices, including water recycling and onshoring production.

Current production is 3,000 to 4,000 luminaires per week, with plans to scale to 7,000. Novon aims to strengthen the Australian manufacturing sector and is advocating for government support for domestic products.
