Nubia to Unveil First AI Agent Smartphone at WAIC 2026
Nubia will launch the first AI agent smartphone at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in July 2026, aiming to redefine user interaction through system-level AI capabilities. This device is expected to automate complex tasks across applications, enhancing efficiency and user experience.

Nubia plans to introduce its flagship AI agent smartphone at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference from July 17 to July 20, 2026, in Shanghai. The device is anticipated to be the commercial version of its second-generation Doubao smartphone, developed with ByteDance, following the sell-out of its predecessor, Nubia M153.
This smartphone's AI agent will be integrated into the operating system, allowing it to process natural language commands and execute multi-step tasks autonomously. It utilizes a GUI agent architecture and an on-device large language model to interact with the phone's interface.
ZTE's CoClaw intelligent scheduling technology is also expected to enhance app collaboration for automation. The introduction of this technology may significantly shift user expectations for smartphone capabilities and interaction models.
