NYCHA Secures $92.5 Million for Campos Plaza II Renovation Project in East Village
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) has closed financing for a $92.5 million PACT project to renovate Campos Plaza II, benefiting over 450 residents. The project will include comprehensive renovations to 224 apartments in two buildings, transitioning to Project-Based Section 8 under the RAD program. Upgrades include Clean Heat for All heat pumps for efficient heating and cooling, improved building infrastructure, and enhanced community services.

NYCHA has secured $92.5 million in financing for the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) project at Campos Plaza II in Manhattan's East Village. This initiative will renovate 224 apartments and improve living conditions for over 450 residents.
The buildings will transition to Project-Based Section 8 through the RAD program. The renovations will feature comprehensive upgrades, including the installation of Clean Heat for All heat pumps, which provide efficient heating and cooling.
The project aims to enhance building infrastructure, communal spaces, and social services, ensuring affordable rents for residents. Construction is expected to take three years.
