The Odisha Cabinet has approved a five-year extension of the scheme 'Popularisation of Agricultural Implements, Equipment and Diesel Pump Sets etc.' with a budget of ₹2,200 crore, benefiting an additional 379,000 farmers from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31. This initiative follows the success from FY 2021-22 to FY 2025-26, which supported 254,774 farmers by subsidising the purchase of modern agricultural machinery, including tractors and harvesters.
