OGDC Increases Oil Production to 750 Barrels Per Day at Kal-03 Well in Chakwal District

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) has increased production at its Kal-03 well in Chakwal district from 50 barrels per day to 750 barrels per day after a successful workover operation. The enhancement involved Multistage Physico-Chemical (MPC) treatment and the installation of an electric submersible pump (ESP).
This initiative is part of OGDC's ongoing program to optimize production from mature oil fields. Despite this increase in output, OGDC's shares fell by 3.13% on the stock market to Rs. 285.5, with 14.8 million shares traded.
