OQD Launches Open-Source Quantum Hardware Repository on GitHub
OQD has launched an open-source repository on GitHub, providing detailed designs for its Blade Trap Assembly and Optical Circuit Boards, essential components for its trapped ion quantum computer. This initiative aims to foster collaboration in quantum technology development and offers a tested foundation for constructing quantum processors.

OQD has introduced the first open-source hardware repository for quantum technologies on GitHub, featuring designs for its Blade Trap Assembly and Optical Circuit Boards (OCBs). The blade trap assembly is essential for the quantum computer's operation, while OCBs manage optical routing and laser delivery.
Each OCB utilizes LightFlow technology and connects lasers to the ion trap. OQD aims to expedite quantum technology advancements by providing these tested designs, allowing developers to build quantum processors more efficiently.
