Osisko Metals Increases Mineral Resources at Gaspé Mines Project
Osisko Metals has updated its mineral resource estimate at the Gaspé copper project, reporting M&I resources of 1.83 billion tonnes at 0.27% Cu. The significant increase of 119% in metal copper content underscores the project's potential as a major copper source in North America.

Osisko Metals Incorporated has announced a substantial update to the mineral resource estimate for the Gaspé copper project in Quebec, revealing M&I resources of 1.83 billion tonnes at a grade of 0.27% Cu and inferred resources of 0.24 billion tonnes at 0.41% Cu. This update results from 118,000 meters of drilling completed in 2025, reflecting a 119% increase in copper content compared to the previous estimate.
A 50,000-meter drilling program is set to commence at the end of March 2026, aimed at converting inferred resources and expanding the deposit. The DPEX exploration program will begin in May, focusing on deeper mineralization. The project is seen as a potential major economic driver for the Gaspé Peninsula and critical for Quebec's strategy to enhance critical mineral resources.
