PadUp Ventures and Unicity Labs have partnered to accelerate agentic commerce infrastructure in India, focusing on AI agent-powered applications using the Unicity Protocol. The partnership aims to support Indian startups in various sectors such as SMB sales automation and cross-border payments.

The Unicity Protocol features a peer-to-peer blockchain architecture designed for machine-speed commerce, capable of processing over 300 million transactions per second. PadUp will introduce an Agentic Commerce Track within its PrepUp acceleration program to mentor and fund qualified startups targeting the Indian SMB market. India, with over 112,000 startups, is positioned for agentic commerce adoption due to its large SMB sector and advanced digital payment infrastructure.
