Pakistan Launches ACT AI Initiative to Train 6,000 Students Across 100 Universities

The ACT AI initiative in Pakistan will train 6,000 students per cycle across approximately 100 universities, driven by a collaboration between the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, NAVTTC, HEC, and AI Skill-Bridge, a subsidiary of AXI Technologies. The program will commence shortly, with a focus on practical AI applications such as generative AI and automation tools over an eight-week training period.
Aiming for 50% female participation, the initiative is aligned with the National AI Policy 2025 and seeks to foster a skilled workforce for the digital economy. The program will launch formally soon, with training cycles planned every two months, reflecting a commitment to strengthening Pakistan's knowledge economy.
