Pakistan to Establish Centers of Excellence for Quantum Computing and Nanotechnology
Pakistan is set to establish three Centers of Excellence, including a National Center for Quantum Computing and a National Center for Nanotechnology, to bolster its capabilities in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This initiative, announced by Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal, aims to enhance the country's competitiveness in future technologies and address climate challenges through advanced satellite systems. The centers will align with the broader 'Uraan Pakistan' vision, which emphasizes exports, digital development, and environmental resilience.
