Peab to Construct SEK 109 Million Raw Water Pipeline for Ringsjö Water Treatment Plant in Skåne
Peab has secured a SEK 109 million contract from Sydvatten to construct a new raw water pipeline to the Ringsjö water treatment plant in Skåne. The project will include pipelines on both pressure and suction sides and installation of valve chambers and pipe supports. Construction is set to begin in March 2026 and is projected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Peab has been contracted by Sydvatten to build a new raw water pipeline to the Ringsjö water treatment plant, which provides drinking water for most of Skåne. The SEK 109 million project includes pipelines for pressure and suction, alongside water, wastewater, and rainwater pipes.
Additionally, valve chambers and pipe supports will be constructed. The project aims to enhance redundancy in the Sydvatten system. Work is scheduled to commence in March 2026 and is expected to finish by the end of 2027, with order registration in the first quarter of 2026.
