Bengaluru-based fashion tech startup Zilo has raised $15.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners. The investment aims to enhance Zilo's AI-driven apparel design and supply chain automation, targeting India's $100 billion textiles market. Founded by NIFT alumni, Zilo's platform reduces design-to-delivery time from 90 days to 14 and minimizes material waste by 40%. The funding will also support international market expansion and the development of new technologies such as virtual fitting room APIs and blockchain tracking.
