PEAK.DMS Automates Operations at Warsaw's Annopol Tram Depot
PEAK.DMS has successfully automated operations at the Annopol tram depot in Warsaw, enhancing efficiency for Tramwaje Warszawskie sp. z o.o. The system integrates advanced technologies, including RFID antennas and sensors, to optimize tram routing and reduce manual intervention, ultimately improving operational safety and resource utilization. This digitization allows for centralized vehicle status monitoring and better management of technical systems within the depot.

PEAK.DMS has digitized and automated the Annopol tram depot in Warsaw, operated by Tramwaje Warszawskie sp. z o.o. The depot spans 12-14 hectares and manages over 150 trams. The system integrates 84 RFID antennas, 66 sensors, 272 track circuits, and 5 induction loops for vehicle tracking and location.
It automates control of more than 100 switches and 99 signals, reducing manual stops for tram drivers. Vehicles are routed to service stations based on their condition, optimizing depot resource use. Technical systems like gates and washing systems are also connected to PEAK.DMS, enhancing efficiency by minimizing stops and improving track capacity utilization. The automation reduces manual effort, centralizes vehicle status, and increases operational safety by preventing de-energized track sections.
