Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has completed its fourth transaction with CUR8, expanding its carbon dioxide removal (CDR) credits portfolio. This initiative aims to offset PIC's operational emissions by 2025, consistent with the Oxford Offsetting Principles. The partnership includes projects from 1PointFive, O.C.O Technology Ltd., and Carboneers, addressing various carbon removal pathways. The strategy aligns with PIC's commitment to net zero by 2050.

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has expanded its carbon dioxide removal (CDR) portfolio through a fourth transaction with CUR8. This effort aims to address residual operational emissions from its 2025 Scope 1 and Scope 2 domains and business travel, adhering to the Oxford Offsetting Principles.
CUR8's portfolio includes four projects, featuring direct air capture from 1PointFive, biogenic CO2 capture from O.C.O Technology Ltd., nature-based removals from the Kukumuty project, and an Indian biochar initiative by Carboneers. PIC's strategy supports its 2050 net zero target.
