The second event happened on June 13, when 68 pounds of anhydrous ammonia escaped due to a failed seal, sending several individuals to the hospital.

The leaks exceeded permitted air limits, raising concerns about regulatory compliance. Following the incidents, repairs were completed and normal operations resumed. The corrosive nature of ammonia poses health risks, emphasizing the need for stringent safety measures in industrial environments.
