PT Pertamina Patra Niaga's Dumai Refinery achieved operational efficiency of $34.98 million in 2025, surpassing its target by 396%. This result is attributed to strategic initiatives such as production process optimization and implementation of Advanced Process Control (APC) in the Crude Distillation Unit (CDU).

The refinery also utilized Prescriptive Predictive Maintenance System (PPMS) on turbo generators to improve reliability. Future strategies will focus on high-value product production and digital transformation. The refinery received four awards at the 2025 Cost Optimization Award, recognizing its efforts in enhancing profitability and operational sustainability.
