POET to Supply Zero-Carbon Ethanol for NASCAR Races in Partnership with Sunoco

CARBON CAPTURESUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL

POET has announced a partnership with NASCAR to provide the racing series with zero-carbon ethanol, starting with the Daytona 500. This ethanol is touted as the first commercially available of its kind.

The initiative aims to promote sustainability in the ethanol industry, crucial for future markets like sustainable aviation fuel. POET's current production capacity is limited due to carbon capture challenges, with ongoing efforts to secure pipelines for CO2 sequestration.

The company also collaborates with farmers on conservation practices to further reduce the environmental impact of ethanol production. POET sponsors NASCAR's 'Restart Zone' and produces 3 billion gallons of ethanol annually.
