Polypipe Building Services has made a £7 million investment in automation at its Aylesford facility. This includes £1.5 million in automation technology, £3 million in moulding machinery, and £2.5 million in extrusion technology.

The facility now utilizes six-axis and Cartesian robots, operating on a 24-hour, five-day production cycle, which increases output and improves responsiveness to demand fluctuations. The automation aims to maintain quality, support the existing workforce, and enhance production consistency while reducing waste.
