Postbank Bulgaria has deployed robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance loan administration as part of its modernization strategy amid DORA regulations. Partnering with Service Centrix and using UiPath's platform, the bank automated 20 processes in its Loan Administration Division within six months.
The automation reduced processing times by about 80% and achieved zero error rates. A single software robot can now handle most daily transactions in approximately two and a half hours, significantly improving efficiency and compliance. The initiative not only streamlines operations but also aligns with EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), strengthening operational control and supporting business continuity.
