PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) announced that the Libo SE #86 well in Siak, Riau, achieved a production rate of 1,274 barrels of oil per day in early 2026, with a 0% water cut. The well was drilled to a depth of 5,680 feet in the Top Menggala layer, using selective perforation and optimizing Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) technology.

PHR is also drilling the Libo SE #88 well and plans to drill four additional wells through infill drilling to maximize oil potential in the area. The collaboration among various teams was crucial for the success of this project.
