PTA UK Ltd, with Frigosystem, has installed a RPE502 RACA PLUS ENERGY chiller and a DC V-type dry cooler, aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability. The chiller operates at 170 kW in 25°C and 150 kW in 35°C conditions, featuring an integrated process pump and advanced energy optimisation controls.

The dry cooler operates without water usage, reducing maintenance and operational costs. The system includes a remote-control option, allowing performance monitoring. Estimated energy savings range from 30-45% annually. The project involved turnkey supply, installation, and new stainless-steel pipework for optimal hydraulic performance, reflecting PTA UK's commitment to energy-efficient cooling solutions.
