Purdue University Partners with Rittal and Eplan for Smart Manufacturing Education
Purdue University has established a five-year strategic partnership with Rittal and Eplan, announced at the Rockwell Automation Fair. The collaboration focuses on smart manufacturing education through the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
Purdue will open an Eplan Electrical Engineering Technology Projects Lab and a Rittal Automation Systems Lab to provide students with hands-on experience in automation and plant engineering. The partnership includes scholarships, internships, and joint research initiatives, along with a significant number of Eplan software licenses for students. This initiative aims to bridge the skills gap in the U.S. workforce by cultivating talent ready for industry demands.
