Qatari Sheikh and Amazon Invest in Neura Robotics for AI Humanoid Development
Neura Robotics, a German startup, has secured funding from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani and Amazon to develop AI-powered humanoid robots. The funding round included contributions from Qualcomm Ventures, Tether, and Robert Bosch GmbH, aiming to raise around €1 billion, potentially valuing the company at €4 billion. Neura's humanoid robots are designed to lift heavy objects and automate tasks, competing in a growing market projected to reach a trillion dollars by 2035.
