Qblox Secures €26 Million Investment for Quantum Technology Expansion
Qblox, a leading quantum technology firm from the Netherlands, secured €26 million in funding from InvestNL and Quantonation in summer 2024, marking a significant milestone as it is the company's first external investment. This capital will support further growth and development of quantum computing components, crucial for enhancing computational efficiency and fostering innovation in various industries.

In summer 2024, Qblox raised €26 million from InvestNL and Quantonation, marking its first external funding round. The company specializes in quantum technology, focusing on the control of quantum bits, and serves about half of the global quantum computer manufacturers.
This investment will enable Qblox to expand its operations, including a new office in Boston with around 25 employees. The founders noted the rapid pace of growth in the U.S. market compared to Europe, where scaling is more challenging. The advancements in quantum computing technology could potentially revolutionize fields such as materials science and pharmaceuticals within the next decade.
