Quandela and Mekdam Holding Group Collaborate on Quantum Computing in the Gulf
Quandela and Mekdam Holding Group have signed an MoU to deploy quantum computing solutions across Gulf markets, enhancing regional capabilities. This partnership is aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 and aims to establish a local quantum ecosystem.

Quandela and Mekdam Holding Group formalized their partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding to advance quantum computing in Gulf markets. The collaboration aims to develop applications in sectors such as healthcare, energy, and education, contributing to the region's digital sovereignty goals.
Mekdam reported a revenue of QAR681.1 million in 2025 and has an order backlog of QAR3.1 billion. The initiative includes creating a Quandela-Mekdam Quantum Center of Excellence and focuses on local skill development and training programs. This strategic move aligns with broader regional initiatives like Saudi Vision 2030 and the UAE National Quantum Strategy, potentially positioning both companies as leaders in quantum technology in the Gulf.
