Radica Launches Platform at European Carbon Farming Summit 2026 to Enable Carbon Credits from Verified Agricultural Data
Francesco Musardo, CEO of Radica, will present a platform at the European Carbon Farming Summit 2026 aimed at transforming certified agricultural data into carbon credits and emission reduction tools. The platform addresses the lack of verified environmental data infrastructure in Mediterranean agriculture, essential for compliance with new climate regulations. Radica, evolving from the Italian benefit corporation Alberami, will facilitate the integration of advanced Measurement, Reporting & Verification systems. The European carbon farming market is projected to reach €2.3 billion by 2030.

Radica debuted at the European Carbon Farming Summit 2026, presenting a platform that converts certified agricultural data into carbon credits. CEO Francesco Musardo emphasized the importance of verified data for compliance with regulations like CSRD, EUDR, and SBTi-FLAG.
The Mediterranean agriculture sector faces challenges due to fragmented production structures, lacking the necessary technological and financial tools. Radica's platform employs advanced MRV systems utilizing satellite data and on-farm agronomic data, enabling measurable environmental data generation. The platform supports both decarbonization efforts and the creation of agricultural carbon credits for the voluntary market, with credits verified by independent third parties.
