Reactivation of Guárico Aqueduct Restores Water Access for Over 400 Families
The reactivation of the aqueduct in Libertad de Orituco, Guárico, has restored direct access to drinking water for over 400 families. The project, managed by the José Tadeo Monagas municipality, involved the installation of electrical wiring and upgrading connections for a 50 HP motor pump to ensure a stable water supply. Mayor Pedro Solórzano emphasized ongoing monitoring of the system to maintain its operation and longevity. Additionally, the municipal government has rehabilitated the pumping system in the El Diamante sector to improve water supply in multiple surrounding communities.
