Reforms Initiated for FUTS Financial Sustainability
Faisalabad Urban Transport & Welfare Society (FUTS) is undergoing significant reforms aimed at financial sustainability, driven by Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen. These reforms include revenue enhancement measures and operational improvements that prioritize public welfare funding.

Divisional Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen has implemented reforms to make Faisalabad Urban Transport & Welfare Society (FUTS) a self-sustaining entity. Key initiatives include the installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, a shift to a solar-powered petrol pump, and the introduction of a Rs50 token fee for public service vehicles at terminals.
To enhance revenue, experienced recovery staff will be recruited, and unnecessary positions will be eliminated to streamline operations. The additional income is intended to support public welfare projects, ensuring transparency and efficiency in financial management. These changes are critical as urban transport demands grow, driving the need for improved facilities and revenue generation.
