Relu Robotics Launches AI Photovoltaic Installation Robot in Algeria
Relu Robotics has deployed its Bison Series robot for photovoltaic installations in Algeria, addressing labor shortages in solar construction. This initiative marks a significant advance in utilizing AI for improving efficiency and precision in renewable energy projects, particularly in challenging outdoor environments.

Relu Robotics has introduced the Bison Series photovoltaic installation robot in Algeria, enhancing the automation of solar construction. Weighing approximately 9 tons, the robot can handle payloads of up to 50 kg and operates with a range exceeding 5 meters, making it suitable for large-format PV modules.
It employs advanced 3D perception technology and adaptive motion control, achieving installation precision in harsh conditions, such as high winds and extreme temperatures. The Bison Series is designed for remote solar sites, featuring an extended-range power system allowing up to 10 days of operation on a full tank. This deployment could significantly reduce installation damage rates, enhance construction quality, and improve project economics.
