Roadside Real Estate Seeks Approval for Coventry Forecourt Rebuild at Former Sainsbury's Site

Roadside Real Estate has submitted a planning application to Coventry City Council for the demolition and rebuild of a former Sainsbury's filling station in Coventry, acquired for £1.25 million in July 2022. The plans include a new four-pump forecourt and a 1,830 sq ft retail space, along with two jet-wash bays.
The site is adjacent to a closed Sainsbury's supermarket. Concurrently, Charterhouse Property Group has received approval to transform the supermarket into a self-storage facility, and a 10-bay EV charging hub will be developed in the car park.
