Robert Allan Ltd. has completed the design of the RApport 2800-H hybrid tugboat for Harbor Docking & Towing in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The vessel measures 28 meters in length, 12 meters in beam, and 5.5 meters in draft, with a bollard pull of 88 metric tons. It complies with American Bureau of Shipping regulations and is equipped for a crew of six. The propulsion system includes twin Cummins QSK60-M diesel engines and electric motors, enabling multiple operational modes, and is designed to withstand high ambient temperatures typical of the Gulf Coast.
