Rocket Lab has secured a $397 million contract with the US Space Force for satellite deployment under the SB-AMTI program, expected to utilize the Neutron rocket. The first flight for the Neutron has been delayed to Q4 2026 due to tank test issues, with five launches already booked.
Concurrently, Rocket Lab completed its 92nd mission with the Electron rocket and has launched 55 of its own satellites into orbit. Analyst predictions suggest a target price of $120 from Needham and $115 from Bank of America, despite critiques regarding speculative valuations. Insider trading activity includes CEO Peter Beck selling 3.29 million shares under a pre-established trading plan.
