Rolls-Royce Defence Business Sees Significant Growth and New Contracts in 2026
Rolls-Royce's defence segment reports over 20% growth in equipment deliveries for 2026, with major contracts secured. Key developments include engine orders for military aircraft and naval vessels, signaling strong market positioning.

Rolls-Royce's defence division achieved over 20% growth in original equipment deliveries in early 2026, bolstered by new contracts and program milestones. The company received an order for 20 Eurofighter Typhoons engines for Turkey and the MT30 marine gas turbine was selected for 11 Australian Navy frigates.
The AE 3007 engine powered the first flight of the US Navy's MQ-25 aircraft. Additionally, Rolls-Royce is progressing well with engine testing for the US Army's MV-75 program and collaborating on the B-52 re-engining project. The company maintains its operating profit guidance of £4.0 billion to £4.2 billion for 2026, expecting to mitigate financial impacts from regional conflicts.
