RS Group has acquired BPX Group for £27 million, potentially rising to £30 million based on performance by 2026. BPX, headquartered in Leicester, has over 6,000 customers and operates 20 branches and two distribution centers.

The acquisition will enhance RS Group's technical capabilities in the automation and control sector, which accounts for more than 40% of its revenue. BPX will continue to operate as a standalone business, focusing on leveraging its specialist knowledge and RS Group's scale to create growth opportunities in UK and Ireland markets.
