RVNL Secures Rs 164 Crore Bid for East Coast Railway Signalling Project
RVNL has been awarded a Rs 164 crore contract for a signalling enhancement project by East Coast Railway, marking a significant development in railway infrastructure. The project aims to improve reliability in various ABS sections and interlocking systems across multiple stations.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder for a project valued at Rs 164.18 crore from East Coast Railway, focused on enhancing signalling and reliability. The scope includes the installation of MSDAC for improved reliability in the ABS section and alterations to electronic interlocking systems at various stations, utilizing technology from Hitachi Rail STS India Pvt.
Ltd., Medha Servo Drives, and Siemens Rail Automation. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months and is classified as a domestic order. This development may impact railway operational efficiency in the KUR division.
