RWE Reports €1.8 Billion Net Income for 2025, Unveils €35 Billion Expansion Plan Focused on Gas
RWE achieved an adjusted net income of €1.8 billion in 2025, down 22% from the previous year. The company reported an adjusted EBITDA of €5.1 billion, impacted by reduced electricity margins. A one-time gain of €225 million from a UK data center sale supported results. RWE announced a €35 billion expansion plan by 2031, with €17 billion allocated to U.S. gas capacity and €9 billion to gas and battery projects in Germany, aiming for an EPS of €4.40 by 2031.

The Supply & Trading sector's profits halved to €339 million, while Onshore Wind and Solar rose to €1.74 billion. RWE outlined a €35 billion expansion plan by 2031, prioritizing gas alongside renewables, with substantial investments in the U.S. and Germany. The company aims for an EPS of €4.40 by 2031, maintaining a solid financial structure with net debt at €10.9 billion.
