S3DEL, a French machinery manufacturer, has developed a high-performance five-axis micro machine with automation technology from Inovance. The machine weighs 120kg and maintains the capability of larger heavy-industry centers, thanks to compact servo drives and control components.

S3DEL, which provides custom micro-machining platforms for sectors like jewellery and dentistry, chose Inovance for its technical support and compact motion-control products. The new machine features Inovance's PA9000 EtherCAT CNC controller and SV660N servo drive, enabling high-speed, high-precision control.

It operates on a 220V supply, reducing size and energy needs, enhancing portability and installation ease. The project emphasizes a commitment to lower carbon emissions and efficient collaboration, reinforcing S3DEL's position in the micro-machinery market.
