Samsung Set to Launch 83-Inch OLED TV in September Utilizing LG Display Panels
Samsung is set to launch its 83-inch OLED TV, model KQ83SC90A, in September 2025, utilizing WRGB OLED panels from LG Display, the sole manufacturer of this size. This release will make Samsung the third brand, alongside LG and Sony, to offer 83-inch OLED TVs. The new model will feature the Neural Quantum Processor 4K and an 'EyeComfort Mode' for adaptive brightness, with a refresh rate of 144Hz.

Samsung is expected to launch an 83-inch OLED TV, model KQ83SC90A, in September 2025, following compatibility registration at the National Radio Research Institute. The TV will utilize a WRGB OLED panel from LG Display, which is currently the sole manufacturer of 83-inch OLED panels.
This move positions Samsung as the third brand to introduce 83-inch OLED TVs, joining LG and Sony. Earlier in June 2025, Samsung announced a new range of OLED TVs featuring the Neural Quantum Processor 4K and 'EyeComfort Mode' for brightness adjustment based on ambient light, with a refresh rate of 144Hz.
