SAP SE and IBM have initiated several customer deployments of SAP Cloud ERP Private on IBM Power Virtual Server infrastructure. This transition allows enterprises to shift on-premises resource planning workloads to a hybrid cloud setting, optimizing data operations and enhancing process automation.
Notable deployments include JYSK in Denmark, which aims to modernize global operations, and Ecuador's DIFARE Group, utilizing the infrastructure for manufacturing enhancements. Additionally, Plastilene Group in Colombia is leveraging the vendor setup for cost optimization amidst regional growth, while GBM seeks to improve data analysis and software upgrades in Central America and the Caribbean.
The integration of the Agent2Agent standard further facilitates communication between IBM's watsonx Orchestrate and SAP's Joule Agents, reinforcing the interoperability of their systems.
