SCSU Receives $294K in MJSP Grants for Workforce Training with EssilorLuxottica and American Solutions for Business
St. Cloud State University has been awarded $293,794 in Minnesota Job Skills Partnership grants to enhance workforce training in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica and American Solutions for Business. The funding will support training for 95 employees at EssilorLuxottica in technical and leadership skills, and for 50 employees at American Solutions for Business in communication, digital literacy, and other essential areas.

St. Cloud State University (SCSU) has secured $293,794 in Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) grants to improve workforce training for local companies EssilorLuxottica and American Solutions for Business (ASB).
The first grant will enable SCSU to train 95 employees at EssilorLuxottica over three years, focusing on automation, robotics, and leadership skills. The second grant will assist in upskilling 50 ASB employees in areas like communication and digital literacy. These initiatives aim to enhance workforce readiness and address local workforce shortages.
