Seven Hills is collaborating with Meijer SuperCenter to install a generator at its convenience store and gas station on Broadview Road. The $50,000 generator will power a fuel pump specifically for first responders, ensuring they have access to gasoline and diesel fuel during power outages.

The installation is expected to be operational this summer, with costs shared equally between the city and Meijer, which will also manage future maintenance. This partnership is intended to enhance public safety by preventing delays in emergency services during prolonged outages.
